Why I accompany exactly this path
From faster,
higher, further …
… to arriving
at myself.

My path was not always straight.
It was challenging, moving and full of turning points.
Today I know: every station of my life
has made me the accompanier I am today.
University. PhD.
Sport. Career.
All at once.
As a child I was quiet, and I often understood animals and children better than adults – a mystery to me for a long time, especially since I was repeatedly misjudged at school. Today I know: not everything is as it first appears, and not everyone who is quiet has little to say.
Perhaps that's exactly where my wish to do everything right came from. So I studied Chemistry, earned my PhD at TU Braunschweig, and worked at the same time during my studies– while competitive sport remained a fixed part of my life throughout. Always faster. Always higher. Always further. Always more.
In the laser lab I worked with electromagnetic waves, frequencies and vibrations, without knowing that I was unknowingly already laying the foundation for my later energy work.

The doctorate was done.
And yet I felt an emptiness.
At the same time my body showed me its limits – injuries suddenly made many things impossible that had been taken for granted before. And then everything came together at once: the doctorate was done, I had a calmer job, no more side job, no exams, no constant studying – for the first time in years, real time for myself. Looking back, I'm very grateful for that time. And right into this new stillness, a long relationship ended too – and with it came the question I had long avoided: Who am I, really, when I'm not adapting to someone? When I'm not sharing my life with someone or constantly occupied? For the first time it became truly quiet around me. And for the first time I began looking not outward – but inward.
Back then I probably wouldn't have said I was searching for myself. Today I know that I was.
"Who am I, really, when I don't have to perform?"
– Simone ReichsteinLooking back, I'm grateful to my body. Back then its limits felt like an obstacle. Today I know they were an invitation – to finally stop just functioning, and start listening to myself.
Today I find this connection on 24h hikes, mountain runs and bikepacking. Out there the world becomes simpler. The mind grows quiet, the usual thought patterns dissolve – the beliefs, the self-criticism. I feel connected to myself and to everything, become creative, and find a confidence that everything is unfolding exactly as it should. I wasn't running from something – I was on my way to myself.
But again and again
I heard the same sentence.
"You should work with people."
I wanted to research, analyse, solve problems – until I became part of my first agile team in IT. I was actually supposed to focus on technical topics there, but without planning it, I spent more and more time listening to people, resolving conflicts, and easing collaboration.
"We want you as our lead. We trust you – you're already doing this work anyway."
– MY team, at that timeI hadn't applied for it – the people on my team chose me for it, because they trusted me. That's how I became, almost overnight, a Scrum Master and Agile Coach for the organisation's agile transformation. For over nine years I then lived this role, often with exactly the teams others preferred to avoid – because I was never interested in the problems, always in the people behind them. The "problem team" turned into a "high-performing team"—almost all on its own.

Behind conflicts
are needs –
not enemies.
I always wanted to mediate, leave no one behind, integrate everyone – and in doing so forgot the one person just as involved: myself. Only later did I recognise that conflicts are rarely directed at individual people, but about values, wishes and needs colliding.
Peace work at Forum ZfD and my own development have fundamentally changed my view of relationships since then: when we come into contact with ourselves, our relationships with others get better too.
E = h · ν
Energy is everywhere.
Electromagnetic waves, frequencies, vibrations – once my PhD topic. Today I see: natural science and energy work speak about the same thing – in different languages. They don't exclude each other. They complement each other.
I arrived at this realisation by a roundabout way. Because of recurring running injuries, I frequently saw my osteopath in Hamburg. At some point I asked him what I could do myself, so I wouldn't have to keep coming back. He said: "I can keep fixing this for you. But you're right – you could also resolve it yourself. Have you heard of chakras? There's something in your body that wants to be felt. Probably experiences your body is carrying for you."
Right afterwards I went to the nearest bookshop. Without thinking I walked straight to a shelf, took out a book – "The Rainbow Journey" by Dr. Brenda Davies – and began reading immediately. It captivated me. I felt understood, and immediately the wish arose to learn as much as possible about it. I googled Brenda Davies and found out: she was giving a workshop in Berlin two weeks later and I had to go there.
"I don't usually promote my school, but here is someone who really should go. This person is not just a pianist – more a Rachmaninoff."
– Dr. Brenda Davies, during the workshopI don't know if I am that person, but as I felt called and also was asked by other students during the workshop break to join the School, I couldn't do anything else than applying. Since October 2018 now I've been studying with Brenda. I am a tutor trainee at her school, and have completed diplomas in Spiritual Development and Spiritual Healing as well as numerous further masterclasses.
As a scientist, I never simply believed it. I first tested it like a series of experiments on myself, kept notes, convinced myself that there is more than we initially see or believe – similar to electricity from a socket or WLAN: invisible, yet real and effective. The more I opened myself to it, the more I could experience, see, feel and know.
Training with Dr. Brenda Davies and every experience expanded my view of the whole person: body, mind, emotions, soul - energy. And I learned something decisive: The better my connection to myself, the better my connection to others. Especially in fast-changing, uncertain situations or in conflicts, that makes the difference.
"You could say I have a doctorate in energy."
– Simone ReichsteinThis exact combination – natural science, systemic coaching, mental training and energy work – is my own experience of what makes a good companion. Add to that my own development and the practical experience: I have worked with individuals, teams, leaders and entire organisations, accompanying all of them in their development, and gathered deep methodological knowledge along the way. That's exactly what makes me the right companion – on any level.

Over twenty years
in the volunteer fire brigade.
There I experienced what trust really means – that you have to rely on each other, especially when things get difficult, that no one is strong alone, and that real teamwork doesn't emerge in the easy moments, but when people take responsibility for one another.
Today I am also involved in the Civil Peace Service and as a specialist with the Wings of Hope foundation, dedicated to peace and trauma work. Perhaps because I am convinced that peace does not first begin between countries. It begins where people learn to meet themselves, each other, and their differences with respect.
Through the spiritual work I came to understand what forgiveness really means – and how simple it can actually be. We are all human. No matter where we come from, how old we are, or what history we carry: we share the same longings, the same fears. When we look at what connects us rather than what separates us, the world already looks different. We are only, because others are.
"Everything I work on today follows the same conviction: when people grow, relationships change. When relationships grow, teams change. Organisations. And eventually, perhaps, a small piece of the world too."
– Simone ReichsteinThis is my why.
What fascinates me is what people are capable of – how often they rise, how teams grow when trust emerges, and how organisations create impact through humanity.
I accompany people not because I think they need to become better. I accompany them because I am convinced that every person already carries something unique – and that the world becomes richer when they show it.
"For a long time I thought my life consisted of many different chapters. Today I know it was always the same story."
– Simone ReichsteinA world doesn't become richer because everyone can do the same thing. It becomes richer when every person finds the courage to take their own place and contribute what only they can give in their own way.
Because my path to myself eventually became my path into the world.
Today I know: my gift, the one I get to share with the world, is working with people. And I love it – a little more every day.
These days, this no longer feels like a positioning to me. It feels like a calling.

Six worlds, one attitude.
What matters to me is not how many certificates I have collected – but how they work together today, for the benefit of the people I accompany.

What else moves me: I love nature and endurance sport within it – not to break records, but to expand my own limits and feel what we're capable of, especially when we do it out of joy. Hiking, gravel biking, mountain running.

Professional and human – walked in parallel for a long time. In Together We Grow, both come together.

Individuals. Teams. Organisations.
A rare combination.
Not a claim – an observation.
What sets me apart from many other coaches and consultants can't be summed up in a single sentence – it's a combination that rarely comes together.
I never simply believed what didn't seem plausible to me. Before I brought energy work into my practice, I tested it like a scientific experiment on myself – kept notes, checked the effect, and only let myself be convinced once the evidence was there.
This ability to think precisely and feel deeply at the same time was also confirmed independently: a professional coaching assessment once noted that I manage to be "both part of a group and its attentive, motivating, inspiring and demanding leader" – a rare and valuable combination, as it was put there. Most people are either strong solo performers or strong team players and leaders. I can do both – and I know from my own experience what it feels like to walk long roads alone: during a PhD that couldn't be forced. During 24-hour hikes. During daily running training alongside my studies. Perseverance isn't a claim for me – it's practised habit.
And I've experienced trust not only in workshops, but where it was truly vital: over twenty years in the volunteer fire brigade, where you have to rely on one another when it counts. I've since found the same observation – that real connection is the origin of everything that becomes possible afterwards – in entirely different settings: in the civil peace service, in companies, in accompanying individual people. The same insight, just observed on different stages.
That's why I don't fix anyone. I don't assume that something is broken. I create the conditions under which what's already there becomes visible – grounded in analysis, humanly connected, and grown from my own, lived experience.

I accompany people
so they can
find themselves again.
I accompany people not because I think they need to become better. But because every person carries something unique within them.
When a person arrives more with themselves, their relationships change. When relationships grow, teams grow. When teams grow, organisations can unfold their full potential and bring something positive into the world.
Like a single drop that creates waves: they grow larger, spread further, reach more. That's exactly why I love it when I get to accompany not just one person, but an entire team or organisation – the impact reaches so much further.
That is exactly why I set out.
You matter a lot.
